1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using 4Players (4players.ro), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Service

4Players is a community platform for organising and joining sports events. We connect players and teams across various sports disciplines. The platform is provided free of charge and may change at any time.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One person may hold only one account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or offensive content.
• Harass, threaten or harm other users.
• Spam, scrape or abuse the platform's API.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or the server.
• Use the platform for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Upload photos or images containing pornographic or sexually explicit material, graphic violence, commercial or sales solicitation, or harmful, hateful or otherwise offensive content. Such images are moderated — either directly by us or in response to user reports — and will be removed.

5. Chat & Communication

Event chats are available to all participants of the respective event for coordination purposes. By using the chat:

• No transactions, payments or commercial exchanges may be arranged through the chat. The platform does not facilitate, verify or take responsibility for any financial arrangements made between users.
• We discourage offensive, abusive or inappropriate language. Messages that violate our conduct standards may be removed and the sender's account may be suspended.
• Chat messages are private to event participants and are not shared with third parties, advertisers or external services.
• Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, home addresses) or sensitive data in the chat.
• 4Players reserves the right to review chat messages if required to investigate reported policy violations or comply with legal obligations.

6. Peer Ratings & Reputation

4Players includes a peer-rating system to help keep the community safe and respectful:

• Members can rate one another's conduct after interacting in event chats. These ratings are combined into a behavioural reputation score for your account.
• Your reputation score can affect your experience — accounts with persistently negative ratings may appear less prominently in invite suggestions, event organisers may be notified when such an account joins, and accounts with very low scores may temporarily lose the ability to rate others.
• Abusing the rating system (coordinated down-rating, retaliation, etc.) is itself a violation of these terms.
• Messages are automatically screened for hate speech; suspected violations may be flagged for review by our moderation team.
• If you believe a rating or an automated action was unfair, email [email protected] and a person will review it.

7. Events

• Event organisers are responsible for the accuracy of event details and for complying with local laws.
• 4Players is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from events organised through the platform.
• By joining an event, you acknowledge participation is at your own risk.

8. Arenas Data

Arena listings on 4Players are compiled from publicly available information (including Google Maps and similar public sources) and from feedback submitted by our users.

• We do not collect, store or display contact details, phone numbers, email addresses or any other sensitive information about arenas or their operators.
• Arena data is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about its accuracy or completeness.
• If you believe an arena listing is inaccurate or should be removed, please contact us at [email protected].

9. Intellectual Property

The 4Players name, logo and platform design are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of content you post (profile pictures, event descriptions), but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

4Players is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.
